A rich new world has opened up. Resources are plentiful, the economy is booming, and the capitol city of this new world is expanding like never before! Even though many corporations scramble to stake a claim in the exploding prosperity, only one can claim ownership! Who will take over the Infinite City?
Will you place the capitol next to the port, claiming both as your own? Will you use the transit station to move another player’s military base out of the way, or place your embassy to steal his temple? Will you try for a greater area under your control, or move to capture key buildings?
Infinite City is a stand alone tile game where players become the leaders of corporations building an ever-sprawling city, maneuvering to control the largest districts while holding on to the most valuable buildings.
This game is a tile laying game along the lines of Carcassonne. The game comes with 120 large tiles, each featuring the beautiful artwork of Charles Urbach. The rules are very simple and the rulebook is only 4 pages of fairly well written instructions. There are also 15 small wooden cylinders for each player to claim their sections of the city.
Each turn, a player places a tile from their “hand” and claims it, while following the specific instructions on the tile. You build points by claiming at least three contiguous tiles. You have to be careful though, other players can steal these tiles from you or just kick you right off. If you get one of the exclusive Power Stations, you can hold on to a small section that the other players cant touch.
The game is over when one player either runs out of tiles, or all of the power stations have been played.
This game was easy to learn, fast to play (30 minutes to an hour), and fun. After playing our first game we immediately started a second game. We had a great time and I anticipate many future plays.
Pros: Easy to learn, fast to play, high quality components, fun!
Cons: There is a strong “Screw your neighbor” aspect to the game. If you get annoyed by people attacking you and taking away your points, then this game may not be for you. Thus I would not recommend it for younger children, or those who tend to take thier games too seriously.
Score: 8 (out of 10).
Currently you can pick up Infinite City at Noble Knight Games for $22.00!

the game end is indicated when someone places their last token, not tile? Power stations are secure except to the Capital tile, which can overtake even the Power stations.
This is a great game, I think it's big con is it can have a run away leader – but mainly with just 2 players and going out first usually is bad since the others get a last turn and can screw you so big on the very last turn! Great game though, I am really enjoying it.
Yes, you are right, it should be "The game is over when one player places his last Token" and not Tile. There are way many more tiles than we ever went through in one game.
