Clever Mojo Games is pleased to announce that we have partnered with HanClinto Games to produce an iOS version of Alien Frontiers. The app will be written for the iPad, an Apple device that is becoming very popular as a board gaming platform due to it’s large screen and convenient portability.
The Alien Frontiers iPad app will be a fully functional game utilizing all of the rules in Tory Niemann’s game design. It will allow for solo play against multiple AIs or pass-and-play gaming between friends. Networked gaming is not planned for the initial release but may be added at a later date. The app will include fun in-game achievement awards and unlockable content such as the much-sought-after “Space Crane” Alien Tech card.
The art and graphic design of the Alien Frontiers board game has earned high praise and the iPad app will feature all of Mark Maxwell’s incredible game art and Karim Chakroun’s outstanding iconography.
It is anticipated that Alien Frontiers will be available in the AppStore by mid-2011. Pricing has not yet been determined but is likely to fall between $4.99 and $9.99
Clever Mojo Games already has two iPhone games in the AppStore, Jin Li by David MacKenzie and Taiji by Nestor Romeral Andres.
