A new series is coming from Victory Point Games focusing on some of the most epic battles against the odds! To be entitled, Death or Glory, the first release in the series will be Pickett’s Charge on the third day of the Battle of Gettysburg. Designed by our friend Hermann Luttmann, In Magnificent Style, will put you at the head of Longstreet’s corp as they make their way from Seminary Ridge to Cemetery Ridge to engage the Union troops. You’ll only have five turns in which to reach your objective and attack so you have to push you luck to the utmost.
We should see In Magnificant Style sometime before the year is out, although it’s important to note the game is currently in very early alpha testing. The images included are certainly not for the finished production but can you you an idea of some of the components.
Since I’m a fan of Mr. Lutmann’s previous designs, I’m intrigued to check out the new series when it becomes available!
Future releases will most likely cover the charge of the Light Brigade as well as the assault of the Old Guard at Waterloo.
