A unique anthropomorphic mystery with an intricate plot and a fantastic cast of characters.

“District 14 is an intoxicating brew of early twentieth century Americana, a world filled with immigrants, gangsters, and heroes. It’s like a dream mash-up of Little Orphan Annie, Dick Tracy, noir and gangster films, as well as 10 cent comic books from the ’40s… oh, and toss in Babar the Elephant for good measure…”
-Jeff Smith, creator of BONE and RASL

100 pages

No official resolicit is available yet but the deluxe volume collects both French albums (or graphic novels to us here in the States) Songes: Coraline and Songes: Celia (published in 2006 and 2012 respectively) and follows the story of Coraline, a nineteenth century governess, whose imaginative flights of erotic fancy allow here to deal with the daily drudgery of her uneventful real life. The illustrations are spectacular and I’ll say it’s not going to far out on a limb to guess Humanoids will solicit this for mature readers. ~ Jeff
