While most radio drama died off during the late 1950s and early 1960s here in the U.S., the Brits across the pond have continued the great tradition of great stories carried through the airwaves. One series which aired for a couple years in England was The Price of Fear starring Vincent Price. An interesting aspect of the program were quite a few stories were presented as adventures Price himself had experienced.

Tonight’s episode is William and Mary, a story of a woman who learns her dead husband’s eye and brain have been preserved to watch over her for all time. It seems as if old Bill was a bit of a tyrant though so maybe this bizarre turn of events can allow Mary an avenue for revenge.

Time to hit those lights to settle down with William and Mary as it aired on The Price of Fear on September 8th, 1973.
