Origins Spotlight: Alderac Entertainment Group

Alderac Entertainment Group will be one of the many companies making an appearance at the Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio at the end of the month. Publishers of games such as Thunderstone, Infinite City, Nightfall, Abandon Ship, and Legend of the Five Rings. Let’s take a quick look at what AEG will be bringing to the table.

War of Honor: The new Legend of the Five Rings multi-player game of strategies and tactics. The game is played using L5R CCG cards, but includes four pre-built decks, so you don’t need to have an existing collection of cards to play. It is a unique method of creating an entirely new game with board game like mechanics to an existing CCG game base.

Nightfall-Martial Law: The first expansion to the intense direct conflict deck building game of Nightfall. Introducing new wound types, the new feed ability, and many new cards to offer greater challenges in the game of the creatures of the night.

Thunderstone – Thornwood Siege: This expansion to Thunderstone introduces new monsters such as the Raiders and Siege Engines which bring the battle to you! These monsters can destroy cards in the village, kill heroes not yet hired, and even hurt you on turns when you are avoiding the dungeon!
