Revised Edition of Curse of the Dark Pharaoh to be Released

Sigh….Fantasy Flight Games has announced that they are releasing a new revised edition of the Arkham Horror Expansion “Curse of the Dark Pharaoh”. The new version will have many new additions, including the Exhibit Encounters Deck. If you remember in the original, you only ran into the mysterious artifacts from the exhibit occasionally at random. Now you can track them down and draw from the new deck, but beware of the evil that can befall you.

There is also the patrolled neighborhoods mechanic, making your movement around Arkham much more difficult. Can you avoid the patrol cars moving aroung the city? Also new is the Herald sheet for the Pharaoh himself. The Avatar of Nyarlathotep. Finally the additions of benefit and detriment cards will add lingering effects to your characters.

All the original goodness will be there to. The revised expansion will be fully compatible with the new Miskatonic Horror expansion.

The only thing that stinks, is that I already own the original version. Do I buy the revised edition? It sounds crazy I know, even to me, at least a d4 san loss. What do us die hard Arkham Horror fanatics do? as I said at the beginning, sigh…
