If you’re a big fan of civ building games (like we are) you can’t go wrong with Sid Meier’s Civilization V. Now 2K Games and Firaxis have announced a new title in the series Civilization: Beyond Earth, a science fiction based entry which begins with mankind’s first steps into colonizing new worlds. The game is played on a hex-based grid, just as the current Civilization, using a version of that engine.
The game is slated for Fall 2014 and I have to say the trailer certainly got my juices going!

Finally! This is good news and a much larger expansion. Naming it ‘Beyond Earth’ will certainly attract a much wider audience.
