The Venture Brothers are Back! The Venture Brothers are Back! …Well, Almost

After waiting two years for the latest episodic craziness of The Venture Brothers, on Adult Swim, season five is right on the horizon. Scheduled for a May 19th Midnight premiere on Cartoon Network, the new season brings back plenty of fan favs as well as new characters into the mix. Thankfully, CN has ordered two full seasons this time around so let’s hope we don’t have to wait forever for season six.

If you haven’t caught The Venture Brothers, let me say if you took the classic Johnny Quest characters and villains and then replaced them with dysfunctional, hysterical doppelgangers and you’ll have an idea of what the show is like. I find there are plenty more hits than misses in the show (unlike a lot of Adult Swim content in my book) and every episode has at least one solid laugh out loud moment to go with the rest of the chuckles.

Here’s the latest trailer for The Venture Brothers Season Five released earlier yesterday. You’ll take note there isn’t a whole lot of voice over in the trailer but that’s probably because all the voice work hasn’t been completed for all the episodes yet…
