Tonight we’re going to go with something a bit out of the ordinary with an episode of The Creaking Door. Mostly people think of radio programs which aired in the U.S. or, on occasion, the U.K. when talking about old time radio. Obviously there were radio shows all across the globe even after television muscled radio out of the limelight. The Creaking Door was a South African program which brought tales of mystery and terror to listeners from 1964-65.
In I see Ghosts, a man sitting in a bar engages in a conversation with a beautiful woman. This won’t turn out to be the usual bar pick up though as the tale begins with the man accused of murder…
So dim the lights and give a listen to I See Ghosts as it aired on The Creaking Door on May 4th, 1964.
