The newest expansion for World at War is available as a print and play or a preorder from Lock ‘n Load. Into the Breach bring new units and scenarios to World at War: The Untold Stories and the base game is needed for play. The expansion is $20 as a print and play or at […]
Heroes of the Gap from Lock ‘n Load Publishing Heroes of the Gap, is a complete Lock ‘n Load module (you need nothing else to play), which brings the Lock ‘n Load system to the environs of Eisenbach, Germany on the first day of World War III. No, this is NOT a World at War […]
I enjoyed playing House of Spirits, although it does have some problems. If there were more cards it would add a lot to the game. Once everyone started hanging onto their items, the four event cards came up a lot more often which got annoying. Plus there are only ten monsters, so they get repetitive after a while.
One of my favorite recent titles from Lock ‘n Load Publishing, Nuklear Winter ’68, is receiving an expansion which brings more scenarios, more action, and new factions to take on: a group of mercs looking to fight for the highest bidder as well as the mutants of the White Hand. It’s important to keep in […]
Magazine: Ravage US Edition Issue #1 Publisher: CoolMiniOrNot Editor: Kevin Clark Pages: 69 Retail: $6.99 I’ll say I wasn’t familiar with Ravage before our trip to Origins this year. I suppose the reason behind this is the independent fantasy and science fiction miniatures magazine was only published in French. That is until now! The first issue of […]
I have to say one of our favorite people to kick it and chat with is Mark Walker of Lock ‘n Load Publishing. Mark joined us, on the Origins 2012 floor, to talk about what’s currently cooking at LnL as well as some projects that are on the horizon. As you’ll hear, a game that […]
I highly recommend Nuklear Winter ’68 as it’s a departure in theme for LnL. If you’re a fan of other LnL games, you’ll really dig this one too. If you’ve never given LnL a try, this is a great title to make your acquaintance. There’s loads of theme, great scenarios, well balanced factions, and an excellent time to be had by all!
Another jam packed show as Elliott reviews Flat Acting from Eye-Level Entertainment and Locke & Key from Cryptozoic Entertainment while Jeff reviews Levee en Masse from Victory Point Games and Nuklear Winter ’68 from Lock ‘N Load Publishing. Of course it wouldn’t be an episode of TGG without our usual off the cuff remarks and […]
A new expansion to the Lock ‘n Load Publishing title White Star Rising, part of the Nations at War series, is now shipping. I enjoyed WSR and you can catch my review here. This new expansion tackles more of the Allied breakout from the beaches of Normandy during WWII and is entitled White Star Rising: Operation […]
Lock ‘n Load Publishing has announced a new addition to their “Guffless Preorder System” (sort of a cross between Kickstarter and a P500) and it’s an expansion to a game that Elliott really enjoys, Space Infantry – you can read Elliott’s review here. The new title is an expansion for the science fiction game called […]
