Taking place after the events of BioWare’s Dragon Age II game, Dragon Age: Until We Sleep is the first in a three part series that will be just the fix fans are looking for until DA3 comes out later this year.
If you’re not familiar with Nexus, first of all, shame on you. Second of all, Mike Baron and Steve Rude’s Nexus, originally published by First Comics from 1981 to 1991, chronicles the adventures of Horatio Hellpop, recruited by the alien Merk to kill mass murderers. Nexus is driven by dreams and physical pain to assassinate murderers, no matter if they repentant, ignorant of their crimes, or reveling in their mischief.
Like many others, I was excited and a little bit nervous when TSR, Inc. announced they would be publishing Gygax Magazine. It’s not exactly a resurrection of Dragon Magazine but it might as well be. And like any follow-ups, people are going to either love them or hate them. I hoped I wouldn’t fall into the latter camp and I was pleased to find out it didn’t.

Truth is Evil Dead of 2013 is very similar to the 1981 film in a lot of regards even though the execution is as different as night and day. Both films are E-ticket rides through a nightmare scenario which are sure to please fans of the horror genre.
The fact Clubs doesn’t take too much time to play makes it particularly good as a “game appetizer” before you pull out the bigger and more complex games. Of course, it helps if someone figures the rules out first and then teaches everyone else.
Overall, Ooga Booga might be worth a buck rental from RedBox if you plan on gathering your friends for a night of enjoying your favorite mind altering substance while riffing on movies. Otherwise you can always watch this nasty little flick just so I’m not alone in my misery…
I’ll point out I’m not a fan of reviews which give away too much of the story of a movie, game, book or what have you as I think including spoilers is not only slipshod reporting but really a disservice to anyone who may be interested in purchasing the item being reviewed.
As a true Star Wars fan, I’m sure you looked into many of the stories that have linked Episode III and IV. However, if you have not checked this one out yet, you are in for a treat.
Overall, this was a nice adventure; nothing that’s going to grab your attention visually, of course. But if you give it a chance, I think it would be a good starter adventure for a long term campaign where you develop new characters into legendary heroes.
Redshirts is a fun game, despite its flaws, and my gaming group is always happy to play it. That’s a good sign a game will live long and prosper.
Overall I like the game very much and it has quickly become a family favorite; this is a title where the theme shines through – where the game design encourages you to act like a pirate while keeping the game mechanisms to a minimum.

The story selection is pretty good, with my favorite actually being the final published story, “The Jungle Joke,” in which Tarzan gets revenge on the tribe that killed his adopted mother, with the help of his jungle friends (and not so much friends).
