Matt Faction to Helm New Hawkeye Title

One of the most popular characters in the Avengers gallery of heroes, Hawkeye, will receive his own series written by Matt Faction with art from David Aja and color by Matt Hollingsworth. Faction and Aja previously teamed up for fan favorite, The Immortal Iron Fist and reunite to bring Clint Barton to New York where he’ll team with the Young Avengers own Kate Bishop in what is planned as a long term project.

Marvel has been riding the character to a great extent in 2012 and it looks as if The House of Ideas isn’t willing to take their foot of the gas anytime soon.

This August look for Marvel’s favorite archer in his own series, in what no doubt will ride the tide of massive hype from May’s release of The Avengers movie!
