Marvel Raking In the Money Thanks To Success on All Fronts

Marvel is a global brand that everybody will have heard of. How could you not? At some point in life people will have come across Marvel characters in some way, shape or form. This is what has made the company so successful over time, the fact that they didn’t just stick to making comics. They knew that their characters, stories and ideas could be transported across various other media publishing types to generate even more success on a global scale.

The company, which started out just making comics, is responsible for numerous superheroes. Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Ironman, Deadpool, Wolverine, these are all superheroes most people will have heard of. Don’t forget as well that they were also behind the likes of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men. They even created a few baddies along the way too, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Doctor Doom, to name a few. With a plethora of interesting characters on board, it allowed the company to expand into other areas, to announce themselves on different stages.

With the comics being such a great success, by and large down to the characters, Marvel went on to take things to the big screen, creating films that represent the highest-grossing US franchise of all time. It was a way for the company to bring characters to life and the fans loved it, it paid huge dividends for Marvel who are grossing over $18 billion worldwide and counting.

The ability for Marvel to expand into numerous other areas is what has made the company what it is today. It’s not just comics and films. There’s been collectible card and board games that have incorporated various Marvel heroes; plus engaging video games based on the various comic characters, as well as role-playing games, which both continue to go from strength to strength. And lets not forget live shows, novels, tv programs and theme parks that have all been Marvel based. They have been successful on all fronts and continue possess the ability to appeal to a global audience via a wide range of interactive platforms.

As a result of technology advances and innovative thinking, Marvel has even managed to expand through a sort of gambling-cross over.
