It’s a site that will let you explore each of the books with interactive graphics, sound, and descriptions of characters, plots, settings, and exclusive new content provided by J.K. Rowling.
For example, while perusing through the first few chapters of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, you find an article called Ghost Plots where J.K. describes how she spent years planning the Potter series. She describes how she plotted out the full stories of many of the secondary characters, and even some of the tertiary characters as well. So while Harry, Ron, and Hermione were saving the world, everyone else was following their own stories. I’m hoping to find out more about them as I delve further into the site.
Only the first book is available at this time as an interactive explore, with more to be added later.
