Tonight we return to Escape! for a werewolf themed tale starring Paul Frees. Frees is especially good in an early episode, number 17 to be exact, of the series. I have to chuckle because the big payoff at the end probably wouldn’t fly with most television network censors these days.
A trio of tourists visiting the Carpathian mountains search for missing villagers, who some think have been eaten by a werewolf. We’ve got a bit of a mashup of a murder mystery and spook tale.
Hopefully, you’ll catch onto the subtle references why this story is titled Taboo…
So turn out the lights and get ready for Taboo on Escape! as it aired December 3rd, 1947.

On a quick side note, most visitors to TGG probably don’t know I ran an old time radio website quite a few years back and I have tens of thousands of radio shows in my collection.
