I page through and share my thoughts on the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Keeper Screen Pack from Chaosium Inc. The pack not only includes the screen but also a supplement with two adventures (Missed Dues and Blackwater Creek), a reference booklet, pre-gen characters, posters, and more. Is the screen and adventure supplement a must have for Keepers of all stripes? Or is this release far less essential than Chaosium would lead you to believe? You’ll find out!

Summary

If there's a gamemaster screen release out there with more gaming goodness than what's packed in the Call of Cthulhu Keeper Screen Pack, I'm not aware of it. Not only do you receive a mighty sturdy three panel screen but also two excellent adventures, a CofC reference book to put frequently used info at your fingertips, pre-gen characters, character sheets, and posters. I also love the fact the screen isn't just a bunch of tables but actually contains flow charts of important game systems such as chases and combat. My only small quibbles are I'd prefer a non-landscape style screen, and Chaosium could have gone with four panels, but what they've done is fantastic nonetheless.
