While BarBEARian Battlegrounds is aimed for two to four players, the game plays far better with the full compliment of gamers and is a bit lackluster with only two players. The rules are easy to jump into (although they could have been laid out clearer) and I especially like the fun and cartoony art style. The game is a fun way to pass about a half hour, although the design doesn't break any new ground. I'd hope to see some more cards eventually added to the mix to boost the replayablity.
