Build and Battle with Bots as Beep Boop Hits Kickstarter

If you were ever a fan of the TV show Robot Wars, there’s an interesting looking project running on Kickstarter you may want to check out. Beep Boop, from Akimbo Games, is a two to four player card game where contestants build and customize their bots to do battle. Of course the robots are much more fantastical than anything you’d see on television as the game has a nice science fiction feel to the proceedings.

It looks as if Beep Boop should hit its very achievable funding goal ($7700) and you can reserve your copy at the $13 pledge level.

Akimbo Games is bringing a world of battling robots to your home! BEEP BOOP is a 2-4 player card game about building and battling!

BEEP BOOP is a kid-friendly, strategic, competitive card game about battling robots. Why? Because who doesn’t love robots? The game is pretty straight-forward and a lot of fun. Players play cards to build and upgrade their robot while sabotaging other players. When a robot is built, players can begin attacking each other. The last robot standing wins!

Players: 2-4  |  Time: 30-45 Minutes  |  Age: 10+

Like any Kickstarter campaign if we don’t reach our funding goal, BEEP BOOP might not exist at all. The primary reason is that the minimum order we can place with the manufacturer, Panda Game Manufacturing, is 1500 copies of the game. That plus freight shipping, design, and the small cut that Kickstarter takes amounts to about $7,700. We truly believe you will enjoy this game, and we have put a lot of time, money, and effort into what it has become today. However, we need your help to place the first order.
