‘Dance of the Fireflies’ Reviewed on The Daily Dope for February 9th, 2018

Note: The number of the card actually indicates it’s in the Potting Shed deck with that number of players or fewer, not more. You can probably hear there was some activity going on right off camera, and it was really distracting, so I misspoke.



While Dance of the Fireflies might look like a light and pleasant distraction of flower gardening there's a lot more meat and bite than immediately meets the eye. I like the bits of "take that" built into the design (which you can probably eliminate if you'd like) which makes this more than a simple auction/collecting game. Each flower's special ability when it's planted makes for some interesting combo possibilities. The artwork is especially good too. If you enjoy a touch more heft to your lighter gaming, Dance of the Fireflies should be a must buy.
