Summary
Personally, I think Waterdeep Dungeon of the Mad Mage will be the sort of adventure supplement which some folks are really going to enjoy while other will dislike it a fair amount. On one hand, if you're inclined toward old school dungeon crawls this is a really cool canvas on which to splash your own personal color scheme. Then again, if you're more new school and dig adventures which are completely spelled out for you - including all areas containing read aloud boxes, flow charts to show progress of the story, stat blocks at every turn - then you're probably not going to be a big fan of this release. I certainly don't recommend novice GM's taking this out for their first spin but would personally use quite a lot of this in my own campaigns.
