Personally, I think Waterdeep Dungeon of the Mad Mage will be the sort of adventure supplement which some folks are really going to enjoy while other will dislike it a fair amount. On one hand, if you're inclined toward old school dungeon crawls this is a really cool canvas in with to splash your own personal color scheme. Then again, if you're more new school and dig adventures which are completely spelled out for you including all areas containing read aloud boxes, flow charts to to show progress of the story, stat blocks at every turn then you're probably going to be a fan of this release. I certainly don't recommend novice GM's taking this out for their first spin but would personally use quite a lot of this in my own campaign.
