Dr. Grordbort’s Scientific Adventure Violence is a retro-futuristic setting and supplement for tabletop role-playing gamery. Based on the comics, art, and universe created by Wētā Workshop’s Greg Broadmore, this is a unique and comprehensive guide to creating outlandish, interplanetary adventures. It is lavishly illustrated with art by Broadmore and Wētā Workshop and is designed for use with the fifth edition of some game with dragons and other silly, scientifically unfounded elements.
This Quick Start 1 features setting details and rules, 5 pregenerated, ready-to-play characters, plus scores of new creatures, weapons, gadgets, and vehicles–all in a maniacally flavorful, yet accessible and easy to run, format–no matter what rules system you prefer.
Developed by Crowbar Creative and licensed by Stardog, Dr. Grordbort’s Scientific Adventure Violence will be published by Exalted Funeral and will Kickstart in August 2022. In the runup to the crowdfunding campaign, a trove of Quick Start material is being released. This first batch–which contains setting information and rules, an adventure module, five pregenerated characters, and dozens of monsters, weapons, equipment, and NPCs. Additional Quick Start materials–-four adventure paths, eight more pregens, and more monsters–-will be released in April, May, June, and July on the Crowbar Creative Patreon.
