Summary
Epic certainly isn't a bad game by any stretch but simply not one which brings a ton of new concepts to the table. Many of the mechanics and processes come directly from M:tG. Epic is fun and priced right, especially for a non-CCG, so I do recommend the game but found we enjoyed Hero Realms quite a lot more.
