A gaming company returning to the scene in a big way is Sean Brown’s Mr. B Games. Earlier this week I had a chance to chat with Sean about two big titles coming soon to your FLGS, Alien Uprising and Spurs: A Tale in the Old West.
First up is Alien Uprising, designed by Richard Launius (Yep! THAT Richard Launius) and Sean Brown, which places three to five players on the surface of an alien planet on which their ship has crash landed. Time is short to repair the ship, or be saved by a rescue ship, before the inhabitants of the planet become too monstrous and many to facilitate escape.
Next is Spurs: A Tale in the Old West, designed by Ole Steiness and Sean Brown, which is a bit of a sandbox game where players can take on one of a variety of characters and complete various missions including hunting game, robbing banks, catching desperadoes, rounding up cattle, and more; each player can approach the game in the way they’ll have the most fun.
Spurs continues until a single player achieves the level of fame need by the scenario, although the person who attains the level to trigger the end may not end up the victor.
Both Alien Uprising and Spurs should be available this Summer.
