Grey Fox Games is announcing today the launch of a new imprint, Social Sloth Games, a company that will release games that are more geared to a casual crowd. “When Grey Fox Games first launched in 2014, the idea was simply to put out titles we wanted to play,” said Shane Myerscough, president of Grey Fox Games. “Now with our company growing, we wanted to ensure we continue to focus on our core fans while reaching out and expanding our audience.”
Social Sloth Games’ slogan, “Slow Down. Have Fun,” serves as an invitation for gamers of all experience levels to relax and enjoy quality games together with friends and family. The first title Social Sloth Games will release will be Creatures & Cupcakes, a press your luck game designed by Daryl Andrews (Sagrada, City of Gears).
In Creatures & Cupcakes, players take on the roles of monster trainers. Using sweet treats with the perfect blend of sugar, spice and everything nice for each species, they will try to befriend and tame these wild beasts. Feed them too many cupcakes at once though, and they won’t get the sugar rush they crave… but a terrible tummyache instead! The first player to tame two creatures to show off for the Cupcake King and Queen will be the winner. Creatures & Cupcakes will launch on Kickstarter next month.
