Summary
There's a lot to recommend Grit to newcomers to the hobby and those looking for a very lightweight fantasy RPG. The game is obviously designed for everyone to kick back at the table and have fun. It's also packed with unique and interesting creatures and items. Sadly, the aim of using the game for one shots and very short campaigns works against Grit seeing there are no rules for character advancement (outside of getting loot) so most people probably won't stick with the system for very long.
