Star & Flame Games and Exalted Funeral have launched a Kickstarter to fund both the Land of Eem Dungeoneer Adventures box set and Land of Eem The Underlands Campaign Setting box set. The first looks to be a perfect introduction to the Land of Eem RPG while the second expands upon the game’s Mucklands setting. The prohect has reached it’s funding goal and you can reserve a copy of the Dungeoneer Adventures boxed set (with stretch goals and PDFs) for a $50.00 pledge, The Underlands Sandbox Campaign Setting box set (with stretch goals and PDFs) for an $80.00 pledge or reserve both for a $125.00 pledge through July 18th. Expected delivery is February 2027.

Land of Eem: Dungeoneer Adventures is an easy-to-learn, easy-to-play, and easy-to-run tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) box set for kids. Players take on the roles of students attending Dungeoneer Academy, a school where kids train to become full-fledged adventurers and explorers in the fantastical Land of Eem.
Based on our action-packed middle-grade series Dungeoneer Adventures, published by Simon & Schuster, the game brings the characters and world of the books to life. As plucky kid heroes, players will flex their creativity and imaginations to complete quests and earn their Dungeoneering Badges.
Land of Eem: Dungeoneer Adventures is a beginners tabletop roleplaying game designed to be easy to learn, easy to play, and easy for parents or educators to run for groups of 2-6 kids—perfect for ages 8 and up (or younger with more guidance). This year, we officially launched the Land of Eem core game along with the The Mucklands Sandbox, and we are beyond excited to continue building out the many realms of Eem, starting with The Underlands Sandbox Campaign Setting!
The Underlands Sandbox Campaign Setting is an expansion sandbox for Land of Eem that takes place entirely underground in a fantastical subterranean realm. A companion to The Mucklands Sandbox, The Underlands details four new regions, each with distinct environments and biomes. Just like The Mucklands, this one is jam-packed with locations, NPCs, rumors, and quests—but this time, there are loads more dungeons!
The Underlands Sandbox is almost entirely system-neutral, so GMs can use it as adventure content for the Dungeoneer Adventures Beginners Game (and vice versa)—or simply as inspiration for any RPG.
