Levee en Masse Solitaire Deluxe Edition is Up on Kickstarter

The French Revolution board game Levee en Masse Solitaire Deluxe Edition is up on Kickstarter for Old School Wargames and Worthington Publishing. Designed by my pal John Welch, the new edition of the game places you in charge of the Republican forces. The game is for one player, ages 13+, and plays in around 30 to 45 minutes. The Kickstarter is well past its funding goal and you can reserve a copy of the game (which includes the original expansion) for a $59.00 pledge through December 4th. Expected delivery is next October.

The Wars of the French Revolution, 1789-1802

This solitaire game, suitable for cooperative game play, tells the story of the French Revolution through its key events and decision points. You must stop the advances of foreign armies and the counter-revolutionary forces within France itself to defend the virtues of Republicanism.

Can you suppress the forces of Monarchy and Despotism to maintain the Republican spirit in France? What affect will the rise of young Napoleon have on events? Can you export the revolution by liberating neighboring states and granting them their liberty? Will you be able to keep order in Paris as it suffers from riot after riot?
