There’s been a change in top management at WizKids which took place almost immediately after the recent GAMA Trade Show. Justin Ziran is the new President of WizKids Games, Inc. Ziran, who’s been involved in marketing for WizKids (both when it was owned by Topps and now in it’s current status as a subsidiary of NECA) most recently held the title of Vice President of Brand Marketing.
Ziran replaces Lax Chandra, who had been President of WizKids since 2006. Chandra was originally with then parent Topps, where he’d been Director of Business Development and Director of Internet before he was assigned to the WizKids division. Notices indicate Chandra left WizKids to pursue other interests, reportedly an unrelated Internet start up.
