Summary
Once again Northstar (although I always thought it was North Star) has produced another excellent science based game. The art and production are top notch and the limited edition includes plenty of extras to boost replayablity. Oceans doesn't feel as cut throat as other Evolution games and some my love that (or possibly hate that) as you focus on producing effective species rather than fighting off extinction every moment. Oceans is easily taught within ten minutes and the core concepts quickly grasped. As much as I enjoy the Evolution games, the series strikes me as coming close to running its course. A great game none the less though.
