Summary
Of Dreams & Shadows is an interesting game but strangely is actually better solo or with fewer players than the box indicates. Although the info states up to six players, I wouldn't recommend more than three since there can be quite a bit of downtime waiting for it to be your champion's turn again. Personally, even though I guess it's not recommended, I found it to be really cool solitaire. I do like the artwork and the components are nice but the game board is a bit of a disappointment. Overall this is a fun, if unspectacular, experience. I will mention that while the equipment, scenario, and event cards do add variety to replays the core dozen quest cards for each adventure always remain the same.
