Summary
Our Friends the Machines & Other Mysteries is a fun adventure supplement for Tales from the Loop, if not necessarily a critical addition to your collection. The Mummy in the Mist is my favorite of the three tales as it incorporates plenty of the beats which made many of our favorite genre movies of the 1980's (or set in the 80's) so great. The supplement is very "sandbox-ish" and some GMs who need everything laid out for them will find many specifics will need to be plotted. The supplement once again drives home the fact Tales from the Loop is best suited for one shot stories or short three or four session long campaigns.
