Preorder Crusader Rex by 9/14 to Receive a Limited Edition Bonus

Columbia Games is preparing to get Crusader Rex, Second Edition out to gamers everywhere and are issuing one last call for preorders. If you get your order in no later than September 14th (yes, I know that’s tomorrow – I just got the news of the offer moments ago) you’ll receive a limited edition mounted board at absolutely no additional charge. The mounted board is bigger than the standard board that will ship with orders placed after the 14th.

Crusader Rex is a game of the 3rd Crusade. One Player plays the Christian Franks, the other, the Muslim Saracens. The objective of the game is to control important Victory Cities such as Jerusalem, Acre, Damascus, and Antioch.

The board depicts the Middle East from Antioch in the north to Egypt in the south.

Game design by Jerry Taylor and Tom Dalgliesh (Hammer of the Scots).

Final call to get a limited-edition mounted map with your Crusader Rex for just $60. 

The new, larger, board by Karim Chakroun is gorgeous.

The 2nd edtion also has new high-quality cards, new labels and rules improvements. A worthwhile investment for fans of the original game and the era.
