Summary
Renegade is an interesting cyberpunk deckbuilder/pick up & deliver mash up. Unfortunately, the rules and various terminology make the game more difficult to learn than it should be. Thankfully, at it's core, the game is pretty good and there's plenty of replayablity build into the design. I will point out that some gamers might find the game a bit more complex than they're comfortable with.

Jeff, please understand that RENEGADE is designed to be perfectly balanced as a SOLO game, too. No “schizophrenia” required. Just pick one Avatar and into the network you go, bro. 😀

I like the game Alan; I wouldn’t give it an eight out of ten if I didn’t. It’s just that the other gamers at the table where taken aback by what they thought was the over-complexity. I also admitted I hadn’t played enough to catch onto all the nuances of the design yet either.
