The new expansion could be ready for this year’s Gen Con (as the base game premiered there last year) and will include twelve Romulan ships and 100 new cards which are divided into ten sub-decks. New rules are also included in order to give fleet commanders rules the ability to play three player battles as well as pitting Federation vs. Romulans vs. Klingons. That’s something I know Elliott, and many other gamers, will be excited about!
Also being added in the expansion are new mission types such as Sabotage and Espionage to provide a more Romulan feel to the proceedings with these new game mechanics. You may find yourself kicking some serious Romulan tail only to have a dreaded saboteur toss a wrench into your plans – literally!
No word yet on an official release date (fingers crossed for Gen con everyone) or an MSRP but when we get more info we’ll be sure to pass it along!
