Antler Games is about to complete a successful Kickstarter funding run for their post-apocalyptic game Saltlands and have revealed some additional add-ons available for preorder. The four player game has already hit over $75k in funding so the title is a go for a proposed November 2016 release, but there’s still time to get on board at the $48 pledge level.
Regarding add-ons from Antler Games:
We have listened to your voice. Thanks a lot for filling out the survey and giving us your opinion about add-ons. You and 231… (no, 233 and counting) other backers have told us their favorite add-on choices.
Soon, it became obvious that 1) most of you loved the concept of extra miniatures + landsail minis 2) most of you wanted to have the Survival guide in some way, even if it doesn’t get unlocked during the campaign.
So, we’re introducing two add-on packs that try to satisfy both of these demands. They contain KS-exclusive items as a reward for your added support for the campaign. I really hope you’re going to like at least one of them! 🙂
Every morning, you and your crew members sit into your motorized vehicle to head to the central Colony, hoping for some loot and equipment. Your landsail is being repaired in the backyard – a shame since today the wind is really strong and you wouldn’t have to use Fuel to get to town.
On your way to the Colony, on the side of the road, something catches your attention. After making sure that you’re not being followed by raiders, you stop on the roadside to investigate. It’s an old booklet, almost falling apart, which had seemingly been touched by various hands through generations.
You’ve found the Saltlands Survival Guide. Its worn pages contain precious information, rumors and tales noted by fellow travelers throughout the decades. You learn that this booklet contains something else, too – somebody has jotted down stories that may very well be about the origins of the Colonies. Or are they just false gossips?
This add-on contains:
- The KS-exclusive Survival Guide, merged with the short story booklet of the Colonies
- 6 Cheat Sheets
- An awesome KS-exclusive Saltlands Poster to remind you that Survival Is Not Enough!
NOTE:
1) Collectors’ Edition backers will get this add-on as part of their reward.
2) If the Survival Guide is unlocked during the campaign, you may switch to the other add-on.
This add-on contains:
- 6 KS-exclusive, 3D printed landsail miniatures
- Two sets (2×6) of raider miniatures
NOTE: the landsails seen on the picture are illustrations and the final model is going to be similar in appearance but different in details. They will be marked in some way if you do not wish to paint them.
The raider miniatures are going to have the same color as the other raiders (probably black, see the FAQ), the landsails may differ in color due to the different manufacturing method.
The landsails are going to be manufactured with a low-quantity manufacturing method, most probably 3D printing. Expect a proper build quality – we don’t want to deliver low-quality miniatures anywhere.
