Tales of the Valiant: Player’s Guide 2 Clears 300% Kickstarter Funding in First Day

The Tales of the Valiant: Player’s Guide 2 is now up on Kickstarter for Kobold Press. The volume will contain three new player classes, multiple subclasses and lineages, spells, and lots more. The Kickstarter project passed 300% funding in its first day and you can reserve a copy in hardcover (with PDF) for a $59.00 pledge or grab just the PDF alone for a $29.00 pledge through June 27th with expected delivery in January.

Player’s Guide 2 is the first major rules supplement honed to perfection by Kobold Press. This huge leap forward for the Tales of the Valiant RPG gives its 5E-based system new downtime rules, expanded strongholds, improved ritual casting, and a range of new subclasses, a dozen new lineages, and more than 150 spells and rituals. The Vanguard martial class as well as the Witch and the Theurge casting classes offer new paths to adventure!

The heart of the project is the hardcover edition of Player’s Guide 2 with its sewn library binding, and the fully-linked PDF to enable easy reference and quick lookups. Other options and stretch goals will expand the total package with additional character tools, new lineages, and more!
