The Conquest of Chaos is Up for Crowdfunding for Dragon Peak Publishing

An interesting looking Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure campaign is up for crowdfunding for Dragon Peak Publishing. Designed for levels 0-5, The Conquest of Chaos includes six inter connected adventures against the forces of chaos. You can reserve a copy in print and PDF for a $40.00 pledge or grab just the PDF for a $20.00 pledge at BackerKit through February 21st. Expected delivery is this July.

About the campaign:

The Conquest of Chaos is an adventure campaign for levels 0-5, compatible with Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG. Supported by gorgeous art from Peter Mullen and Hodag, this campaign pits the PCs against giants, demons, and the primal forces of chaos.

Adventure Campaign Overview:

  • Race Against Flame: Level 0. Escape from fearsome fire giants and back to their home world.
  • Where Demons Roost: Level 1. Heal a gargantuan holy tree, poisoned by the forces of chaos.
  • The Cyclopean Storm: Level 2. Explore the ruins of a flying city of Laputa and discover its curse.
  • Savage Scions of the Sea: Level 3. Infiltrate an island fortress filled with hundreds of sea giants.
  • Reforging the Stone King: Level 4. Fight back stone giants who have broken into the royal dwarven crypts.
  • Damnation Is Eternal: Level 5. In order to save the world of Aereth, the PCs must journey to a chaos realm.

Designed For Ease of Play

  • Great for All Gamers: Both the funnel and level one adventure, Race Against Flame and Where Demons Roost, have been designed to help teach the Dungeon Crawl Classics system to new players and judges, while also being thoroughly entertaining to experienced gamers.
  • Different Styles of Adventure: Each adventure has its own unique feel! Different environments, monsters, challenges, and “dungeon design approaches” make them all stand out and keep everyone interested.
  • Easy to Run: References to other sections within the book always include page numbers! Expect thorough hyperlinking and useful bookmarks in the PDF! There will be appendices for optional rules and table locations, a glossary of notable items, and annotated versions of the maps to make running the adventures as easy as possible.
