The Settlers of Catan 2012 Champ is…

Over the weekend the annual Catan World Championship was held in Blue Bell, Penn. The event, sponsored by Mayfair Games, brought 42 competitors together for four rounds of Settlers of Catan action and following three days of competition Austrian Herbert Schager took home the prize.

Chi Wai Chan of Hong Kong finished second, Justinas Noreika of Lithuania took third place and German Reiner Beila finished forth.

Taking home the top prize, Schager received a gold trophy, a gamer cruise for two and loads of Catan goodies.
