The Witcher Pen & Paper RPG is rather standard crunchy roleplaying fare mechanically. This doesn't make it bad, just simply not groundbreaking in any way. The information in the corebook is presented rather haphazardly, with bite sized chunks of what GMs need to actually run the game scattered throughout, which can lead to confusion at the gaming table. The system is also far more numbers heavy (and you'll need to juggle plenty of them in your head as you play) than I like. The combat is interesting and rather lethal.
