While the pilot is still in production, and hot on the heels of a leaked photo from the set, NBC has revealed the first promotional photo for the upcoming series Constantine. Based on the DC Comics anti-hero, the show features Matt Ryan as the title character. “I’ve been a fan of John Constantine since he was first introduced in 1985,” Executive Producer David S. Goyer said in a statement.
“This Constantine, envisioned by Neil Marshall and embodied by Matt Ryan, looks like he sprang directly from the comics’ covers. Fans old and new are going to be in for a treat,” Goyer added.
Thankfully, word is the series will stay much closer to the comic than the Keeanu Reeves flop…
