Folks were pretty excited at Star Wars Celebration IV today when the team behind Robot Chicken, Seth Green and Matt Senreich, unveiled the trailer for their new animated series Star Wars: Detours. As you can see in the video, nothing is sacred as everything is fair game. And, yes, Jar Jar Binks makes an appearance.
No word yet on when the show will air but it looks like this should be a much watch for SW fandom.

It was Star Wars Celebration VI, not IV. Show looks great, doesn’t it? I will definitely be watching. Can’t wait for the figures to come out also.
Yep… Dummy me inverting the two while I typed. Checked the spelling but didn’t double check the Roman numeral. 🙂 The show looks like it could be really funny, although a couple gags fell flat, and I loved the Jar Jar Binks bit!
I agree with you on some of the gags. Loved Jabba and Salacious Crumb! I think my favorite though was the whole thing with Admiral Ackbar. I wish they would hurry up and find a network that will air it.
