TCM Launches Its Annual ‘31 Days of Oscar’

Earlier today Turner Classic Movies launched the channel’s annual 31 Days of Oscar. There’s plenty for movie fans to look forward to through March 3rd as every single film, each and every day, is an Academy Award winner or nominee.

Personally I love TCM and, along with their annual Halloween marathons, this is one of my favorite times to kick back with the cable channel to watch one fantastic movie after another!

Just as an example of what you can expect, today’s lineup included all ten Best Picture nominees from 1939 including Wizard of Oz, Stagecoach, Wuthering Heights, Mister Smith Goes to Washington, and the eventual winner Gone With the Wind.
