I share a bit of a how to play, as well as my overall thoughts, about Calico from AEG and Flatout Games. In the game players compete to create quilts which will score the the most points for colors, patterns, and the various cats it attracts.

Summary
First off, all the components in Calico are top notch and I was actually pleasantly surprised how well everything is presented. While the game art would lead you to believe this is going to be extremely light fare, the reality is Calico is going to require some brain power to complete the patterns and layout in order to maximize scoring. Truthfully, this could lead to some analysis paralysis is people take the game too seriously but it's not horribly bad. I love the fact there's plenty of replayablity both for multiplayer and for solo players as well.
