I share my thoughts about the latest Cults of RuneQuest release from Chaosium Inc. The Solar Pantheon is the focus of The Gods of Fire and Sky as you’ll learn about more of the deities who influence the fantasy world of Glorantha. Inside you’ll find thirteen new cults, spells, NPCs, and more.

TGG SCORE

9.5

Summary

Another excellent release in the Cults of RuneQuest line with 13 new cults, their histories, organizations and associations, rune magic, and more. The volume is packed with content and the production quality is what we happily expect from Chaosium Inc.

This review really captures the depth and uniqueness of The Gods of Fire and Sky. I appreciate how the Solar Pantheon is brought to life with such rich detail — especially the inclusion of new cult mechanics and lore that expand gameplay possibilities in RuneQuest. Chaosium continues to raise the bar with both content and production quality. I’ve been covering similar titles and RPG systems on my site and always look forward to seeing how different creators interpret Glorantha’s evolving mythology. Great coverage, Jeff!
