Today I review the second edition of the epic fantasy board game Darkest Night from Victory Point Games. Plus the latest news from Mantic Games, Fantasy Flight Games, Z-Man Games, Atlas Games, and more.

Note: Wow! The bad contact really messed with me all show. Right after the news it got so bad not only could I barely see but it was also extremely painful. Talk about completely wrecking my concentration…

Summary
While some might not dig much of the chaos and randomness involved in Darkest Night, for me that only adds to the replayablity and challenge. This edition is chock full of fantasy goodness and is yet another VPG title which contains a great narrative thread every time you bring it to the table. The game is exceptionally entertaining regardless if you have multiple players or tackle it solitaire. The price tag might turn off some but I look at this as really a core game and two expansions combined.
