I share my thoughts about the new limited edition Curse of Strahd Revamped, for Dungeons & Dragons, from Wizards of the Coast. The boxed set arrives in stores October 20th carrying an MSRP of $99.99. So is this collectors set worthy of a place on your gaming shelf? Or should this have been titled Curse of Strahd Rehashed and isn’t worth its hefty price tag? You’ll find out!

Summary
While there isn't anything technically wrong (outside of the production issues with the Tarokka deck) I just don't see the value of this boxed set for anyone who isn't a 5E D&D completist. It doesn't make much sense why the monster stat blocks and Tarokka section were broken out into their own booklets except maybe ease of use. The deck of cards were chipped, scuffed, and not all properly cut. Funny thing is I actually really like the Curse of Strahd adventure so I'll recommend picking up the hardcover and downloading the minor errata. If Curse of Strahd were perhaps $30.00 or so less I'd be more inclined to recommend a purchase but not at a one hundred dollers MSRP.
