While Death in Space wouldn't be my SF RPG of choice, there's a lot here to recommend picking up this rules light system. There's plenty of tables to bring inspiration to your science fiction worlds and will certainly appeal to those looking for a very light rules set. Production quality is top notch too. I do need to mention that while the rules are easy to grasp, this isn't a system I think is right for newcomers to roleplaying gamemastering because there isn't any sort of handholding for someone running their first games.
