I share my review, and a bit of a how to play, for Dune: Imperium from Dire Wolf Digital and Legendary Pictures. Is this mashup of deck building and worker placement worthy to carry the name of the classic science fiction series? Or should this be left in the desert of Arrakis to be swallowed by a giant worm? You’ll find out!

Summary
Dune: Imperium is an excellent mix of deck building and worker placement and is one of my favorite releases I've played this year. The game isn't difficult to learn but will certainly take a few plays before the strategies become readily apparent. Granted, the graphic presentation of the board is pretty *meh* and I have to admit it's disappointing you'll need to purchase an upgrade expansion to ramp up the presentation for Dune: Imperium to really pop visually. Overall though, the Gang and I loved this game and you'll really feel like your house is scratching and clawing for control of the future of Arrakis.
