I share my thoughts about, and page through, the second volume in the Original Adventures Reincarnated series, The Isle of Dread. Is this an excellent homage and 5E conversion of a classic D&D Expert tale? Or if you add this volume to your collection will you rue the day and look back on the purchase with dread? You’ll find out!

While I understand the inclusion of more than one printing of the module, I still think it's a bit of overkill. I have also liked to have seen the conversion address the stark differences between the outer portion of the isle and the plateau area, as they felt like completely different adventures in the original module and still do in the 5E edition. Also, while the paper stock is excellent, the corners of the front and back covers seem like they get damaged REALLY easily. In the end though, those are all rather minor issues and the homage and conversion is pretty nicely done and should provide plenty of hours filled with entertaining adventuring.
